Dr. Jan M. Boelmann is junior professor for literary learning at the University of Education Ludwigsburg.

In his dissertation “Literarisches Verstehen mit narrativen Computerspielen” (Literary Understanding with Narrative Computer Games) he discusses the possibilities of employing video games in German classes. His focus is on literary learning with video games as well as literary learning and literacy in general.
